Our cooking skills are passed down through generations. Prized treasures of our cultural heritage they are plain to see here at Meze Meze where our talented chefs use their wealth of knowledge, experience and skill to create for you dishes of outstanding quality. The taste comes from cooking on our Ocakbasi charcoal grill. Ocakbasi translates to ‘fireside’ or standing/eating by the grill and 90% of our cooking is done this way.
This time honoured tradition of cooking on charcoal and blending simple spices to transform meat, chicken and fish creating extraordinarily flavoursome dishes has existed for thousands of years in our ancient lands.
